Sacraments

Baptisms: Celebrated after Sunday Mass at 10.15am.  Baptism is the first sacrament into the Christian family.  Please speak to Deacon John Fegan after Sunday Mass at 9am for more details.  (Please note: if you live in another parish, it is important that you contact your parish church in the first instance.)

If you require a copy of a baptismal certificate for school admission purposes, please contact the parish office.  There is a small charge of £5 to cover administrative costs.

First Holy Communion: Our programme takes place during the academic year and it is for children in Year 3 and above.  The programme involves an Enrolment Service, preparation sessions, Service of First Forgiveness and Service of First Holy Communion (May/June).  It is important that children make their First Holy Communion with their parish community.  Your parish church is normally where you live – this is your parish community.  Registration takes place in late August / early September.  Details are published in our newsletter. 

Confirmation: Please contact the Parish Office. This is a joint programme with St Agnes, West Kirby.

Weddings: Please contact the Parish Office to make an appointment.  A minimum of six months’ notice needs to be given.  Weddings can take place on Saturdays or a weekday (they do not take place on Sundays). 

Anointing of the Sick: Please contact the Parish Office for arrangements.
